Me too. Put a list of all three of them in front of me and I genuinely couldn't tell you which order they're supposed to be in (even though I loved the first one and pretty well liked the sequels).

"Kingdom" at least will be easier to differentiate, since it implies a certain level of advancement in the ape's society.

I genuinely enjoy this reboot series. I was surprised that the reviews have been pretty good for all 3 so far. Kinda hyped for this.

Also Kingdom is redundant. How about United States of the Planet of the Apes next like in the Tim Burton reboot lol

Oh wow, I guess 3 was so forgettable I legit forgot Caesar died. I just remember how ridiculous it was that 2017 was the year of "road movies" where the gruff main character escorts a little girl through a terrain (see: Logan, a much better movie)

I don't care that it wasn't a literal "war" like the title implied, but it was just a bad direction to take the plot/movie. Literally half the movie is like the last castle and a retread of 1, and not in a good way.

I actually feel like the trilogy went on a downward spiral. Rise > Dawn >>> War. I just loved Rise so much, it was insane how much better that movie was than the trailer made it out to be.

To be fair, the 3rd one was War for the Planet of the Apes, so there's at least a bit of distinction.

But yeah, the first two are Rise and Dawn, which doesn't really make sense to me. You'd think those would be flipped.

I absolutely love the series. I saw the second one before I saw the first one though (didn't know there was a first one at the time until my sister started asking me about it or making references...thought she was talking about the Mark Wahlberg one). Eventually saw the first one though. I do think the second one was better. I barely remember what happened in the 3rd one except for a lot of fighting and my boy Caesar dying ;_;, but that's only because I barely remember movies in general especially when the only time I've seen them was just once in theaters...years ago. >_> With that being said, I'm definitely going to see 4 in theaters.
