Yep, but it's turn-based and not pause the game. But if you liked DA:O You'll love the shit out of BG3

There are some changes in the game, but not enough to make it hard to understand. I loved Dragon Age Origins and I loved Baldurs Gate 3. BG3 definitely has better gameplay, but I liked the story and character in DAO a bit more. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I know I'm missing out on story, so I go back and make new characters and let them team up with A,B,C and then I make another character and make them team up with XYZ. BG3 has a bit more in common with Divinity 2, if you're ever played that. I'd say if you like that kind of flavor of CRPG you're in for a good time in BG3. It's feature complete, enormous, and has a lot to explore/do compared to DAO.
