I was thinking about two of those movies earlier, Falling Down and The Game, and how great they are, and how I should watch them again. The only other movie from the list I've seen is Basic Instinct. Which other movies do you recommend from this list?

Ghost.

I do like Falling Down, though it's one of those movies that I get slightly weirded out about liking just for the people who think he's the hero in that.

Close between Falling Down and The Game but the latter wins - particularly because it hadn't been done much before

Falling Down by a landslide. Though I have to say for overall library his stretch during the 80's is much stronger than the stretch of the 90's.

Of those I've only seen The Game. Most of the film was superb, though the ending felt a bit underwhelming.

In terms of actually being good, it's Falling Down but my favorite is Basic Instinct because I love noir films, especially awful ones, and the score by Jerry Goldsmith is fantastic.

Not surprised that Falling Down is winning, but The Game is really underrated. I fucking love that movie.

I was 12 or 13 when I saw this movie. My father forbade me from watching it until I was 18, but one day while I stayed home sick from school, I watched it because I was home alone and had heard about all the sex stuff in it.

First time I saw Falling Down was at a friend's birthday party in maybe 2000 or 2001 and was really into it, and later bought it on DVD a couple years later. I forget when I first saw The Game but loved the whole premise of the movie and eventually got it on VHS (this may have been a time before I owned a DVD player).

American President

The West Wing is one of my favourite shows, and this movie is essentially just a dry run.

I voted for Falling Down.

Honorable mention for Basic Instinct though. Sharon Stone caused more DNA to be spilled in the early 90's than a clumsy orderly in a sperm bank.

Probably would need someone a bit younger than Leeson, as he's just 8 years younger than Douglas and they're both in their 70's.
