Last year, they had multiple Halloween offerings. This year, they have only The Birds showing mid-week when I have to work. There's nothing going on. They should be showing Alien, Evil Dead, Universal Horror movies, etc.

I checked November 3rd, Godzilla Day, to see if they were showing one of the Big G's movies. No, they have it on November 1st -- when I have to work. (Godzilla 2000, Japanese version.)

I'm just saddened by the lack of Halloween offerings. Friday the 13th 3D is really the only movie event taking place and that's at a local theater in the next town over.

They have been advertising the regular fear fest, and I have definitely seen more than just birds on when flipping by. I know they did the regular Steven King marathon last weekend, and I have seen commercials with clips from the Thing and Fright Night (bunch of other stuff to, those were just the only two I actually cared about).

New Creepshow season on Fridays as well.

[edit] Wait, are you talking about the channel or actual theaters? I don't know anything about regular theaters >.>

Three AMC theaters in my area closed down in the last few years, so likely not.

AMC, are you okay?
Will you tell us that you're okay?
There's a sign in the window
That he struck you - a crescendo, AMC
He came into your apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
Then you ran into the bedroom
You were struck down
It was your doom

AMC, are you okay?
So, AMC, are you okay?
Are you okay, AMC?
You've been hit by
You've been hit by a smooth criminal

Hey now.

AMC should really be more sensitive about your personal work schedule

The Taylor Swift concert film doesn't leave them many extra screens for Halloween stuff.

No kidding, encountering Swifties would be a horror flick in of itself.

AMC is a failing business that would have already gone out if it weren't for The Cult deciding to meme it up and buy the ever-loving crap out of its stocks. This gave it a massive cash injection that caused AMC to see if it could leverage this into saving the business (well, after giving their higher ups huge bonuses of course). Unsurprisingly the fact that they weren't getting anyone to go to the movies before wasn't going to magically change just because they gave their CEO a raise nor would it change just because they had random promotions, thus AMC continues to circle its respective drain having been a massive waste of the millions of dollars that were injected into it.

I think AMC owns HiDive, so I'd prefer they not go under.

A week from Sunday, my nearest AMC theater is showing The Birds at 1 and The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D at 4:40. I might just double dip.

It's AMC Networks that owns HiDive, not AMC Theaters. They're not even the same company. Nothing to worry about there.

Dress up as a zombie, bring a boombox with thriller and start a dance fight.
