Very. Though my favorite game is dead, which makes me very sad.

Decent against the AI, abysmal against real players.

I do enjoy them, though.

When I was in my teens I was, was in a few tournaments and typically placed in the top 3. The one I did the best at was a Mortal Kombat 3 tournament nearly won that one, would have won a Playstation if I had.

Only wish there was a Bloody Roar tournament, I was entirely too good at that game.

I'm currently semi-retired from playing competitively, but when I was still all in just a couple of years back, I was good at spamming and making people mad and getting them to ragequit and send me hatemail. Good times.

As far as playing "for real" and not being a spammer blah blah, across my decades of fighting game experience, I usually topped out at being advanced intermediate in any fighting game I played. I was never the best, but I was also never the worst. Been playing fighting games since the very first Street Fighter when it was new in the arcades, fyi.

But I'm getting old now and my best days are behind me. I'm getting my ass kicked left and right in Street Fighter 6 from people being adept at the new mechanics that I can't really get the hang of, and I'm like, oh well. I'm mostly playing and enjoying the single player modes, or hanging out in the lobbies with player created avatars, and I'm fine with that.

Better than the average, better than my friends, definitly worse than many people who actually dare to fight online aiming for some elite rank.

That's a completly different playstyle up there, and I'm definitly not able to enjoy that.

Yeah thats me in a nutshell. Im gold rank in SF. I can probably get to the next rank, but after that Ill probably start having trouble

Terrible. I've never been able to remember button combinations or figure any real strategy beyond button mashing.

I get the concepts and can do basic stuff but I am pretty dog ass at actually putting knowledge into practice.
The only games I was ever remotely good at were SFIV, Calamity Trigger and FighterZ year one.

Depends how you quantify good. Good can range all the way from beating scrubs online to major top 8 level player.

I'm better than most people I know, but that doesn't amount to much in the broad sense of fighting games.

In between, but I generally play waifu over meta. Unless she's ridiculously obtuse or just super unfun to play, but I can't think of a favorite that sticks out to that extent. Closest would be BB Rachel, but I actually liked her playstyle (in CT/CS, at least), so that doesn't apply.

If waifu and meta are one and the same, great. If waifu and meta is the worst possible matchup, well... I'll rage, but I won't switch off or quit.

i used to fight god comps in marvel 2 a lot and stood a good chance

in guilty gear: strive i've peaked in the top 50 in the online leaderboard and am usually in the top 5 of axl players or so, but i don't think that really says much since i just play a lot. it does help my self-esteem that i can get so high with cerebral palsy, at least
