I remember a lot of time spent reading or playing with toys, but also a lot of time spent just wandering around the house/yard bored. Didn't have my own tv for the longest time, and I couldn't take over the family one to watch cartoons. Didn't live in suburb so there were no other kids around either, just one neighbor with shitty teenagers and angry rottweilers. I don't miss it.
