It wouldn't shock me if the vast majority of those who've worked in the children's show and children entertainment over a period of time, often make dark jokes and dark versions of their own work for their own amusement amongst the group. Because working in something that's not meant to entertain adult can get annoying after a while. Also like in any job you've worked for, you gotta have those water cooler talk breaks and activities (like doing an office NFL Pick Em pool for example) with the other employees to help liven up the work day a bit.
