Yeah, the One Piece fillers aren't bad.

I'd actually prefer more of them to the overly drawn out way they do the main story, especially for the later arcs.

Yeah its actually rare when I outright dislike a one piece filler. The only two types I tend to not care for is the boss luffy and whenever they bring foxy back around. Ok, I didn't care for the toriko ones either since they were trying to push that as the next big thing at the time but the anime adaption was pretty ass.

Stuff like the one filler during the stuff between alabasta and mock town where sanji helps out some nooblet cook on a marine ship, the rainbow mist, G8, and the later bounty hunter one is alright stuff. (G8 being great though).

tbf, it looks like One Piece doesn't have filler arcs that are like 90 episodes long like Naruto and Bleach did. So that's makes them better just by default.

Okay the foxy pirates arc is funny but the whole thing is fucking stupid

I feel like Bleach's filler was okay and had some interesting concepts, they were just very poorly and randomly placed. It's not okay to interrupt an ongoing fight so you can dedicate 20-30 episodes to a completely disconnected and non-canon storyline.

Even though I've seen it all, I've started the anime over after watching the Netflix One Piece show. Just finished the Skypiea arc last night. I've been picking up on a lot more details now that I know what happens down the line.

Is there a reason why so far only the girls call Chopper "Tony" while everyone else just calls him Chopper like normal?

He introduces himself as Tony Tony Chopper early on. I'm not sure why certain characters choose one part of his name over the other, though.

I personally feel like some things go downhill after this arc, but I've seen others have the opposite opinion.

I will say, I cringing seeing people talk about filler in One Piece. Yes, One Piece doesn't have long filler asks, but it does something just as nefarious. The longer this series goes on, it adds filler scenes and draws out the original material as long as possible. The pacing gets worse over time, and you can't really avoid it.

One Puece barely has filler. Its like 7% filler / specials compared to Narutos 40%. They just draw out the main plot instead of doing more filler.

TC is about to reach one of my favorite Robin scenes

It's been many years since I've seen the filler but I can't remember hating any of them. I guess maybe the ending of the Rainbow Mist arc because of how cliche it was.
