Even if they're making 2-3% per receipt, that's a fuck ton of money, considering Costco is almost always busy (the ones I've been to) and there's probably thousands of customers a daily, that are spending I'd assume $50+ per trip. I'd be curious to see how much money an average Costco makes in a day just from base sales. Google says over 500k a day. Imagine making 1-2% of that daily in just profits.
