Super Boo doesn't try to kill Gohan; he actually plans to absorb him as well, but first decides to beat him up for fun. As Gohan gets pummeled, Old Kai reveals that he did not bring out all of Gohan's hidden power and that only Gohan can bring out what is remaining. Gohan briefly taps into this hidden power during the fight, but his injuries cause him to power down and get beat up more. Moved by Gohan's determination, Mr. Satan has a change of heart and attempts to help Gohan, but is easily knocked unconscious by Super Boo. Once Gohan seemingly loses consciousness, Super Boo attempts to absorb him. Fortunately, Gohan secretly puts up a barrier that prevents him from being absorbed and only goes inside Boo's body. Gohan then looks for Gotenks and Piccolo so he can free them from Super Boo. Super Boo is confused as to what has happened, but before he can do anything about it, 17, Tenshinhan and Chaozu are revealed to be alive and arrive to fight Super Boo. 17 is especially pissed that Super Boo killed 18. As Super Boo pummels 17, Ten and Chaozu, Gohan locates Gotenks and Piccolo sealed in pods. Gohan cuts the pods out, causing Super Boo to return to his regular state. Gohan notices Good Boo in a pod and prepares to cut it out as well, but Super Boo appears inside of his own body and fights Gohan. Due to his injuries from his earlier fight with Super Boo, Gohan is overwhelmed. Super Boo prepares to absorb Gohan, but before he can do so, 17, Ten and Chaozu manage to immobilize Super Boo by launching their most powerful attacks on him (17 fires a bunch of energy blasts, Ten fires a bunch of Neo Tri-Beams and Chaozu fires a bunch of Super Dodon Rays. They don't actually damage Super Boo, though; they only stun him like how Ten stunned Semi-Perfect Cell with the Neo Tri-Beam). Gohan then uses this opportunity to tear out Good Boo, causing Super Boo to turn into Kid Boo. As Super Boo turns into Kid Boo, Gohan escapes Boo's body with Gotenks, Piccolo and Good Boo. Kid Boo then fires the Vanishing Ball to destroy Earth. Weakened from his fight with Super Boo, Gohan can't stop the blast and is unable to save Gotenks, Piccolo, Dende, Mr. Satan, Bee, 17, Ten, Chaozu and Good Boo. Before Earth is destroyed, Kibito arrives and takes Gohan to the Supreme Kai Planet via teleportation. Upon arriving on the Supreme Kai Planet, Kibito heals Gohan, who starts crying over his friends' deaths, likening the tragedy to when he indirectly caused Goku's death during his fight with Cell. Kid Boo is revealed to have survived Earth's explosion and teleports to the Supreme Kai Planet. With encouragement from Goku, Gohan gains the will to fight Kid Boo. Kibito teleports himself and Old Kai and Supreme Kai to another planet where they watch Gohan and Kid Boo's fight via Old Kai's Crystal Ball. In this powered up state, Gohan would lose his pupils, his bangs completely go up, and he'd be engulfed by an electrical, fiery aura. A good name for this form would be Super Ultimate Gohan. Super Ultimate Gohan wrecks Kid Boo, but turns back to normal due to his injuries from the fight and regains consciousness. Kid Boo attempts to blow up the Supreme Kai Planet with a fully powered Vanishing Ball out of desperation. Kid Boo attempts to blow up the Supreme Kai Planet with a fully powered Vanishing Ball out of desperation. Gohan at first struggles to push the Vanishing Ball back, but his raging willpower causes him to transform into Super Ultimate again and blow away the Vanishing Ball (just like how Goku blew away Beerus' energy ball at the end of their fight in Battle of Gods). Super Ultimate Gohan then unleashes the Dragon Fist on Kid Boo, completely destroying him.Old Kai, Supreme Kai and Kibito head back to the Supreme Kai Planet to congratulate Gohan on his victory. Gohan has one last emotional conversation with Goku and promises to always protect Earth and keep Goku's memory alive. Goku then returns to the Other World. Gohan, Old Kai, Supreme Kai and Kibito then go to New Namek to use the Dragon Balls there to fix the damage on Earth. The first wish is used to restore Earth. The second wish is used to bring back all the good beings who were killed by Boo; just like in the actual story, the Namekians would have upgraded their Dragon Balls to be able to bring back more than one being (Vegeta wouldn't be revived, though; Polunga would consider him to be evil). Right after making the second wish, they would notice that Good Boo's ki has returned. On Earth, Goten, Trunks, 17, Ten and Chaozu prepare to fight Good Boo. Mr. Satan begs them to stop, and Piccolo and Dende side with him as they know Good Boo is not evil. Gohan, Supreme Kai and Kibito arrive back on Earth and stop the fight.They then discuss what to do with Good Boo. Goten, Trunks, Supreme Kai, Kibito, 17, Tenshinhan and Chaozu all vote to kill Good Boo. Mr. Satan, Piccolo and Dende all vote to let Good Boo live. Gohan makes up his mind, and decides to let Good Boo live. Being the most powerful being on Earth, Gohan gets the last say, much to Goten, Trunks, Supreme Kai, Kibito, 17 and Tenshinhan's dismay. Mr. Satan tearfully thanks Gohan. The third wish with the Namekian Dragon Balls would be to erase all Earthlings' memories of Boo (with the exception of the Z Fighters and their friends, of course). Meanwhile, once Goku arrives in the Other World, it is revealed that King Yemma decided to let Vegeta keep his body as a reward for sacrificing his life against Boo earlier. Goku and Vegeta then prepare to spar with each other.
