Golden Jho on launch destroyed the community lol. Lunastra? Then we have all Arch-Tempereds... Behemoth (especially EX), Ancient Leshen, and AT Kulve. Hell, we don't even need to go into those last 3 for base World to be harder than Rise. And just a reminder, all of World's difficult event quests actually gave rewards. if we're going to include the DLC then sure world has difficult content but i'm sick and tired of people pretending that anything in the base game was hard. no, tempered kirin is not hard. tempered bazel is not hard. nothing in the base game is hard unless you're literally brand new to mh. i'm not denying rise is also piss easy and has zero content, i completely agree with that, i just think world is also piss easy. it's the fastest i've ever flown through an mh game, even rise took me (very slightly) longer --- How to play Monster Hunter Step 1: Hit the monster. My friend and I still laugh our ass off about just how many bodies tempered kirin used to stack in base world pre-jho dlc. On one hand I agree that base world pre-dlc wasn't too difficult, but at the same time tempered kirin is a thing that exists right from the very beginning and can't be ignored thus this is what puts it over rise as "easiest monster hunter game not counting dlc". To a hunter that has been playing the games from freedom unite on up (or god forbid MH1 on the PS2) yeah they can adapt to tempered kirin's shenanigans and shut him down. Not your average community member though. I'm banking on either a Megaman game, or another Devil May Cry game. Christ if they just released Megaman Legends 3, I know that would sell millions even if the game turns out to be terrible.
