this film just popped into my head and i remembered how bad it is

from the 32 year old woman kissing the 12 year old boy on the lips

to the awful father treating his 12 year old son like crap for not having a job

also said father gets angry at his son who was almost run over by a car

I never liked that the kid was the one that committed fraud and the adults were the ones that got in trouble for it.

only remember the indoor waterpark. Can't remember if this came out first or Richie Rich.

Kid had a waterslide as an exit to his room.

Kid knew what's up.

Watched it when I first got D+ a couple years ago

It was as bad as I remembered it, but still oddly enjoyable

Man that was a stupidly bad and implausible movie but damn if they didn't execute the boy with a million dollars idea as fun as they did.

Plus Karen Duffy was a major cutie.

Saw it in the theater back then. Think it was 94?

I always think of Blank Check along with Getting Even with Dad, which had Macaulay Culkin and Ted Danson.

Even as a kid I could tell it was trash. Couldnt even watch the whole thing, stopped half or 2/3s way through.

I barely remember it.

It's insane that an adult woman kissed a 12 year old actor and nobody cared. If that movie was made today, the actress would be arrested

I remember seeing it at the drive-in back in the day.

I remember being a kid watching that movie. It introduced me to computers, and had a fun plot. But even as a kid that "kiss" made me want to vomit. Like what kind of sick pedo writers thought that was okay for a kids movie? It ruined the whole movie for me.

A fun kids fantasy... and a bad but not catastrophic film. Why would I want to remember this?

Nope, I have no memory of this.

This movie always reminds me of "The Kid With XRay Eyes" which came out a bit later with the whole "childhood fantasy come to life" energy.

Only know about this shit because the critic reviewed it a couple years back

I loved that movie as a kid. Sure the premise is ridiculous, but as a kid, the idea of being able to buy anything and everything was so much fun to imagine lol

I always remember that weird giant Kirby looking inflatable that came down from the ceiling, I wonder what that was...also i always wanted a bucket of ice cream due to that movie...

Like I would ever forget Tone Loc playing a guy name "Juice".

I watched that movie so many times as a kid.

I only know of this because of the Nostalgia Critic review. Good episode too.
