Problem is, didnt James Gunn say the Flash was going to be good, I mean he was forced to say it cause he is now helming DC, but that made people angry.

James Gunn has always been lacking. Both a decent human being and a director. People give him too much credit for all the wrong reasons.

DC fans are fine. The losers that are Snyder fans are one of the main culprits.

This is likely true but the fanbase just seems so toxic. More so than Marvel but that's not great either.

I'm just a massive movie fan in general.

Blue Beetle was an HBO Max original originally (heh) before it got pushed to theaters.

I don't expect it to be good or do well.

No he didn't. He made bad taste jokes when he was trying to be a shock comic that he has since acknowledged and apologized for that do nothing like defending racism.

The very same people that watch a movie about someone called Spider-Man or Batman? We're used to those names because we've heard/seen them our entire lives, but they're equally as comical as Blue Beetle or Green Hornet.

Casual and non-comic fans are not going to see Blue Beetle. Doesn't matter how silly the names are, Spider-Man and Batman are in the top 5 most popular superheroes of all time, Blue Beetle will not make anywhere near the same numbers as any recent Spidey or Batman movie.

Saw the previews, aimed at kids instead of a slightly broader audience like The Flash. Ill pass on both. Tho Ill likely give Flash a try at home.

That's the exact same thing the entire internet said prior to the release of The Guardians of the Galaxy. DC's track record with movies isn't great and that will be far bigger factor in the movie's success.

Eh, GotG had the MCU behind it, let's not pretend that if it was standalone, it would still be a smash hit. The fact that it is part of the MCU put butts in the seats, the fact that it's a great movie gave it legs.
