I always wonder for individuals what the moment in their life was where it went from random fleeting meaningless thought to being real.

For cisgender heterosexuals its easy because our parents, family, friends and society in general all naturally gear us towards that so the moment we realize we like the opposite gender could be any one of a million little moments, where with LGBT its internally knowing and realizing that youll be going against what all those factors initially expect of you, which could be a pretty big deal.

i snuck up late at night to watch adult content one night when my parents were sleeping
there was this tv channel called sex tv the channel
i decided i wanted to see what all the fuss was about this self love thing

so i watched some specials on a show called real sex which had 3 segments about sex related content
the first 2 were really boob heavy and i just wasnt feeling it
then the last segment was on male strippers. and suddenly i was like "oh i see now"

I used to hate anything sexual, and I tried forcing myself really hard to like girls because I thought I had to. It never worked and I never understood what I was doing wrong.

Then I met a bi guy online and found out that liking men was, uh, an option. I looked into stuff out of sheer curiosity and everything clicked pretty quickly.

I had a crush on another boy back when I was in freaking kindergarten. I thought he was pretty in a way that I never thought the girls were. But this was before I even knew the word "gay" or that this feeling was in any way considered to be out of the ordinary. But yeah, that's the earliest feeling of same-sex attraction I can remember, and definitely a consistent feeling too. I had little cartoon hearts flying around my head anytime I was near him.

I can even remember that his name was Aaron, and I hardly remember anything from back then.

So yeah, after years of that kind of thing, the closest I got to "questioning" was the belief that I was just this way because I hadn't gone through puberty yet and that when that happened I would start liking girls. Of course, what really happened was my attraction to other boys increased like a hundred fold, so yeah, then I knew, even though I was in denial about it for a while.

When I discovered male furry art on the internet way back on my family Windows XP computer is when I knew I was gay.

Still hasn't happened, I guess
