Game Pass can be a good value if you don't already have most of the games it has that you care about. You can play all 5 Forza Horizon games on it. When I bought my gears of war 4 special edition xbox one s back when gears 4 first released I ended up not caring for gears 4 nowhere near as much as I did part 3 (same for gears 5 to be honest). (The lootboxes, changes to how horde works and just how bleh the weapons are for the pvp since a lot of the gears 3 weapons were removed. Story line reasons...no horde around in gears 4's timeline so blahblahblah. Imo pvp should always ignore the story timeline since you can already play as long dead characters like various carmines and ~~dom~~ so fuck it and keep around those old gears 3 weapons too. Gears 3 was just amazing with all the characters+weapon skins you got without needing to rely on lootboxes...I prefer the old-school DLC model of buying a DLC pack and just getting everything that comes with it. Also the simple but fun as hell gears of war 3 horde. Beast mode was also a nice distraction. Just the best gears game by far still). Also one of the games I actually really freaking wanted badly scalebound got shit-canned, and cuphead got ported to everything else a bit later. I did play state of decay 2 for a bit but I ended up playing both this and gears tactics on my PC. All in all, I only played my xbox one s for no more than like, pshh, 250ish hours total if that. Mostly just used it as my cable box since my household had dish TV at the time and the xbox one had a HDMI in port to use for stuff like that. Basically I am waiting to see what games pop up that I can only play on the xbox console-wise before I invest in a newer xbox (no doubt the X if/when I am finally ready to get one. If I am getting a new console then I am getting the model with the most features) and hope said games don't get cancelled like scalebound and the one fable online game they were working on did.
