I didn't like MGS4...at first, but during my third playthrough (the gameplay was fun), something "clicked", and it ended up being one of my favorite in the series.

it's a shame we'll most likely never get a remaster, or anything like that.

Not gonna lie, dude has always kind of been ahead of the curve when it comes to talking about this stuff. Pretty much everything he talked about in MGS 2 has come true as it relates to the proliferation of garbage info and people's inability to tell what is true and what is false because of it.

Has to be remade from the ground up or hosted on a PS3 cloud server. Unless Sony or Konami invests in the best R&D team ever, it can't be remastered or ported to virtually anything else so it's definitely stuck in the PS3 era forever.

Not true. The Last of Us was ported. The real issue is the product placement in the game.

iirc, there was an article saying they had it working on a 360, but didn't like it DVD format, so they decided just to make the game for the PS3.

Both can be true and I forgot about the ipod player although I forget what other things were in it.

Either way it'll take money to fund into that sort of project and Konami has to sign off on that too.
