USA has around 100M more people, but the size comparison isn't even close. Pakistan is pretty densely populated, but I'm pretty sure the US is pretty sparsely populated too. Compare it to populations like Germany's, which are a fraction of the size yet nearly a third of the population. --- Ghosts are cool. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Not very well. But you also need to remember how incredibly spread out much of the American population is. For every packed area like the cities on the coasts, you've got vast empty spaces in many states. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Most of that area in the US is fairly empty. Metropolitan areas hold most of the population. In the US, the 10 biggest metropolitan areas have about 87 million people. Basically 25% of the entire countrys population within 10 cities metropolitan areas. Just about every country is like that. And Pakistan has those cities less spread out. Used Wikipedia, and it shows km first, then miles for Pakistan, but miles first for the states. I used the first numbers for all of them after starting with Pakistan.
