This movie's supernatural element was completely unexpected. When I first saw the title I was expecting another movie like Red or Red 2, about old fogeys in the spy world or paramilitary world or whatever.

Instead its about a group of immortal beings led by Charlize Theron who can't die and they've spent the last few hundred years on earth trying to help humanity covertly. The movie is about them being hunted by a guy who wants the secret of their immortality so he can profit off it.

This weirdly isn't even Charlize's first movie where she plays a supernatural immortal being

I liked both the film and the comic

Movie was ok.

Kinda reminded me a teensy bit of Eternals, and you know what it made me realize is that Charlize Theron should be in the mcu and is a way better fit for that movie and mcu in general, certainly better than Angelina Jolie...

It's one of those movies where I went "Okay, I watched that. It was okay, never will watch it again"

I remember thinking it was okay. Just kind of eh. The one part I vividly remember was the backstory of the immortal who was locked in a box under the ocean, because of how disturbing that concept was. But the surprise credits scene either retcons it or...something

Also, the soundtrack was abysmal.

Ohh its a comic, that makes more sense. Cuz I was thinking the movie kinda comes out of nowhere, I was surprised that a supernatural movie of this vein even existed that's not dc or mcu

Oh yeah definitely, whoever is in charge of the music should have been fired from the start, that was one of the worst soundtracks ever.

And agree completely with the spoiler part. What a bizarrely horrible thing to even think about.

Found out they're making a sequel to release this very year coincidentally enough.

Did you watch Multiverse of Madness? She shows up in a scene in the credits iirc

Also I think the surprise twist at the end credits scene is implying that she finally broke out of the iron maiden and is super crazy and is going to be the villain in the next movie wanting revenge against Charlize Theron because she blames her for being stuck in an iron maiden for 500 years and it'll either end with them making up or Andy tearfully killing her to stop her from killing more humans since she probably also has a world domination/human extinction plan

Yeah, the Fast and Furious movies got weird didnt they?

Lol but seriously its like she's taking yet another stab at being an action star and I dont understand why she hasn't taken off she's awesome.

Also kinda funny that she went with basically her same hair from aeon Flux only a little older. Also if more people had seen this movie I wonder if they would have called it a karen haircut?
