Ill judge it once its out, but I doubt itll hold a candle to last seasons finale. That was a once in a lifetime event.

With the season only really advancing the plot in episode 7. I was expecting the finale be 1 hour 30 mins long.

I enjoyed Book of Boba was more since I actually liked the Tusken scenes

Can't think of anything notable in Mando 3. Plot or character wise.

What part of what I said do you disagree with? I don't think anything I said is unreasonable. Specifically I don't think it is wrong to expect the literal season finale to not be only half an hour long. That is pretty wildy rushed when this entire season has been a slow burn up to this point.

Not saying I didn't get any enjoyment out of it, but I don't think I'm in the wrong to have expected more.

Used to be once you factored in opening and closing credits + time for commercials you'd only have a good 19 minutes of screen time. With shows like The Mandalorian being available to watch instantly whenever you wished the future sure has spoiled us.

This isn't a half hour sitcom episode. It is modeled after an hour runtime television show. Imagine being content with a 19 minute GoT episode. And again, this is the season finale of a season that is only 8 episodes long. It should absolutely have more content than half a fucking hour.

Loved the episode overall. Would have liked a surprise reveal that Paz survived, but no such luck, lol.

Gideon in his mandalorian dark trooper suit was incredibly badass. Loved every second of that fight.

Yeah, the action was pretty good. I was hoping for an actual space battle though rather than the abandon ship and ram it into base. Which was fine, but a bigger lead up that moment would have been great.

There are plenty of serials in the traditional television half-hour format (ever hear about anime?). Mando episodes clock in between 30 and 50 minutes, which this one did. I dont really see anything to get that upset about. If the episode is bad, thats one thing (I havent seen it yet), but runtime does not determine the quality. 33 minutes is plenty of time to get a satisfying season finale. If you dont think D+ is worth your sub, then cancel and be done with it.

I don't understand being mad about the runtime of shows. The episode was well paced and did all it needed to do. The runtime was not an issue.
