Why're y'all trying to metagame this shit. Anybody works for in game. And once you get to end game, everybody's overdrive sucks except Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku.

So out 7 characters only 2 have an overdrive that sucks, Lulu and Kimarhi

And sure everyone "Works " since it's a sphere grid, anyone can do anything

but Kimarhi is objectively the worst character due to his terrible overdrive and the fact it takes longer to make him decent on the grid

Lulu is second with a terrible overdrive and long attack animations but she's useful until 80% of the way through the main plot

Sure, but counterpoint: Kimarhi is actually pretty fun to use if you make him like a red mage. Especially if you try to limit yourself to three characters.
