I'm on the last episode of season 2 and it really loves to throw the most gruesome and "wtf" moments at you at all times.

I never bothered with season 2 after finding out the author draws naked lolis

And that's not even the most fucked up. That's just the first thing that comes to mind when someone asks for something "more fucked up than ______"

You should watch Filthy Frank show if you want shock value.

You start watching it and assume it's going to be some cutesy adventure but soon realize it's far more than thst. I would say the fucked up stuff comes out of nowhere but there was a subtle hint back in ep. 1 that there was something extra about the show. Specifically, when the guy is talking to the girl and describing her mother. He skips out on telling her the nickname her dear old mum earned (something to do with how many people she has killed lol)

Made an abyss is pretty bad but I genuinely enjoy the adventure but I purposely avoid watching stuff that is made primarily for shock value.

There's the one where the guy has a finger gun and shoots the dad in front of his son in the bathtub and it drowns the son too

then there's the one where The Bunny monsters are eating people and putting them in meat blenders

Redo of healer was pretty bad as well with all the rape and manipulation

Now and Then, Here and There
was pretty messed up from what I remembered

like 90% of anime before social media.

THAT surprised you when pretty much as soon as the series starts, they talk about Reg's dick? It's frequently a source of "comedy" in general with that series.

It looked cute from the outset and then I looked into it a little bit and the internet made it sound like pedophile Saw so I have not looked into it any further

It's like a Disney adventure in presentation with the scale and wonder then you realize that it gets a little realistic with the grimness then you quickly realize that shit gets real dark. I do genuinely like the show although the author does love putting his characters in very messed up situations but the show doesn't hide the fact that the abyss is not a fun place the lower you go.

Lol that's nothing tbh. That character doesn't even die and gets fixed shortly after that scene happens. There's far worse.

Meh. Watched all 3 of those videos. Did nothing for me.

I just think animated gore doesn't resonate with me.
