Nope. Pre-Cal/Trig was the highest math offered at my podunk little high school and I was so unbelievably depressed my freshman year of college that I remember virtually none of what I took there lol

I also went out of my way to pick a major that required very little math.

Hell no! lol I took calc 5, combinatorial theory, discrete mathematics, mathematical reasoning, linear algebra. And I remember NONE of it since I basically don't use it day to day >_>

I'm a mathematician so yes.

I took up to multivariable calculus, linear algebra (fun with matrices), differential equations, and intro-level abstract math.

And no, I do not remember much if any of it.

Most of my work has been design, basic math like trig, some easy calculations like stress and strain, etc

Never had to do anything fancy, and if I did I'd just base my shit off FEA software or reference manuals

I learned how to do long division in school but forgot it in adulthood, probably in my mid 20s or so I straight up forgot it

For even very technical real world jobs, generally pre cal will take you far enough.

And advanced algebra covers most things even before you get there.

I started tutoring my friend through Trig, PreCalc, Calc 1, 2 , DiffEq, Discrete Math, and Linear Algebra after I stopped taking classes in 2008. I could reteach myself easily, though sometimes it took some work.
The worst parts were actually Trig and Precalc. There were some topics in Precalc that I just said, "Why the fuck is this here and why do you have to do it like this?"
Second hardest were Fundamental Theorem of Calculus problems with delta and epsilon, some made sense and some were just kinda going through the motions.

I could probably find the derivative/anti-derivative of polynomials and such. Keep those trig identities away from me though.

I remember more or less how to do Laplace and Fourier transforms, and partial differential equations, maybe some convolution
