Ive gotten myself to little/no caffeine. Besides the initial boost when drinking an energy drink, I feel so much better

Id advise everybody to try to get off caffeine as well, but you do you.

They're a great source of caffeine (150-240mg per can) and come in a variety of brands and flavors.

And the prices aren't that bad if you buy a 12 or 24 pack. They're about $1.50 per can that way. If you buy 1 can at a time, then they're like double that without a sale.

You also aren't really supposed to down them on a regular basis. A can here or there is fine, but you do need actual proper rest/sleep since there is such a thing as sleep debt you'll need to face.

For an all nighter or when you just need the pep it's fine. If it becomes two a day every day like it's nothing/regular over a long period, then I don't think the cost is going to be your biggest concern.

I have 4 cans. Never gonna drink em.

Course I can't drink coffee either so maybe it can be an alternative. But I'm always tired even with caffeine so eh.

I remember when they were much more money than just regular soda. Nowadays they're all mostly the same price.

The ones that aren't chock full of sugar (bUt LoOk aT aLL tHe ViTaMiNs In iT!) and without aspartame are pretty good.

I love that they have all sorts of cool tasty flavors. But too much caffeine for me. Would love a non caffinated version though.

Cheaper than premade coffee (whether cafe or mass produced), more expensive than homemade coffee even if made purely with milk rather than any hot water.

There are more expensive ones, but someone just after the caffiene probably won't get those.

I can't do red bulls any more. They just remind me of Jaeger bombs

If I really need the extra boost and coffee isn't around I'll grab a Ghost. I could never really finish a whole can cause the sweetness is overwhelming. Red Bull has a weird after taste for me.

I only have them when I really need them. I mostly drink the Starbucks or Dunkin coffee flavored ones because most of the others taste like ass or are way too sugary sweet and taste like liquid diabetes. I'm sure the ones I mentioned are no better, but at least they taste better. I'd rather have some real coffee though.

Powdered gfuel is the best one. Doesn't expire, less than a dollar per serving, and there's tons of flavors and media ip collabs

I was going through this topic again and reminded of the time I tried Bang. Holy hell I don't know what they've got in that.

I've had monster, starbucks, dunkin donuts, redbull, and a few others over the years and never had a single issue other than maybe tummy rumblies if I drink too many of the coffee ones.

The Bang ones however practically might as well have harmed me. I made the mistake of buying like 16 diff flavors. I wasn't going to drink them all at once, since figured they can just sit aside. I drank one and realised it had that artificial sweetener aftertaste to it so that sucked, but figured whatever.

I only completed portions of 8, because just one of those was enough to throw off my heart/brain for hours and even resulted in a sort of hang over/sickness. Not to mention the post sickness/withdrawl for a day. I seriously thought I consumed alcohol or something, but it was just the bang. I was tempted to finish all 16 cans, but I surrendered and the rest went to some person who apparently drinks em in the droves.
