Nah, she's bad. She has none of the charm of the original Ada. She never cracks a smile and doesn't have that femme fatale air either. She sounds boring and has resting bitch face the whole game lol.

People probably slid in her DMs. Plus the game is getting review bombed on Meta with a bunch of people pointing out here as the cause. Like this one Im particular where if you expand it its some 3 paragraphs worth of critique ripping into her. Plus all the people justifying the abuse in every other comment thread on Twitter right now.

My position strands. Shes always been sexy sue but the absolute need for her to maintain that sexiness in every aspect from her clothes to voice to the actual lines she says because its been part of her character for so long is stupid.

Theres nothing wrong with her being sexy, but she doesnt always have to be. Shes allowed to tone it down or do something different without ruining her character.

Yeah, but it isn't the basis of the hate. She made some weird Instagram post about privilege like the hate is based around race when the entire game is made by a Japanese studio.

It's a case of 'people didn't like the voice, so they're harassing her about it'. Her race is just ammo some of them are using. It wasn't about race, but that doesn't mean idiots won't throw in racial comments because they're awful human beings regardless.

Watching that RE4/REmake4 comparison vid....original Ada wasn't anything to write home about as well. Her delivery's awful most of the time. It rarely sounds like an actual person talking, but that's par for the course in the series.
In REmake4 the actual audio quality of her voice is just god awful and I don't get how a major dev would be okay with releasing this.
