Not sure what to call it, but trying to min-max credit card rewards?

I have a new job that is hybrid. First 2 weeks I will be 5 days a week in hotel (Sunday through Thursday night), after that I will be in hotels 2-3 days a week until I buy a house. So minimum of like 14 days in hotels, but good chance I might have like 40-50 days in hotels this year.

I'm thinking of applying for the credit card for each group getting the 30k-45k in points for each chain for spending $1k in 90 days.

I suspect that is preferable to maxing out points at a single chain, since those initial rewards are super major. I have excellent credit and don't mind a few hits for getting free hotel / airline.

i've got like $700 in chase rewards I am going to redeem to go somewhere nice.

I also got 1,000 from them on an offer to spend X in Y and also other X and Y deals like $200 and such.

Take advantage of those deals for sure. If you are smart about these things, they pay you.

I do a fuck-ton of bank account bonus churning, but I would definitely like to break into the world of manufactured spending to rack up CC rewards.
