It's not as bad as the mullet, but combining both would scare me to death

It's kind of like the Hitler youth haircut that was popular for awhile became sentient realized what it looked like and decided to let itself grow out and go curly so people would stop giving it the side eye

I'm out of touch, but I have never even seen anyone with a haircut like that around here. I don't really have much contact with Gen Z, though.

The oldest gen z are 26 according to google so you might see them more than you think

Probably, but I don't go out very much. Mostly just to work which doesn't have many.

Yeah making fun of a fashion sense of a different generation is a very boomer thing to do. I remember having spikey hair and sagging your pants was the "in" thing during my generation.

We technically were in the emo generation and I made fun of that style back then, so I don't necessarily think it's inherently a boomer thing

not really unless you think making fun of mullets and rattails are boomer things to do. every generation has awful misses and the current young generation definitely isn't an exception.

There's a difference people in the same generation making fun of the styles vs someone from a different generation making fun of a style. That's specifically what I'm talking about having a "boomer" take.

Still doesn't make what I said incorrect. Having a "boomer" take isn't necessarily a bad thing, unless you view it that way.
