My absolute earliest video memory has to be both watching and playing the NES Mega Man games with my neighbor friends in the early 90's. I remember we relied on the oldest neighbor friend to get us through those difficult boss battles. And even then, he failed us many times lol

Playing Super Mario Bros for the first time on Nov. 7th 1989 when I was 4.

I remember the exact date because it was my older brother's bday and our parents got him NES w/ Mario Bros/Duck Hunt.

Either pretending to read what the villagers were saying in Zelda 2 out loud, or hiding in my room until my dad was done playing Shadowgate because it scared me.

I'm told the first game I played was SMB/Duck Hunt, but I was a toddler then.

Playing the original Super Mario Bros with my dad, though those memories are super vague. The earliest thing I remember clearly is Super Mario World because my dad bought the literal paperback book they released as a guide for it and that's always stuck with me.

I think it was either playing sonic, or watching my brother and sister play super mario rpg when I was three. I was trying to get them to explain the plot to me, but my brother kept jumping all over the place.

The original Legend of Zelda is the first game I ever saw and played. January 1st, 1989. New Years Day my cousin brought his NES to my grandmother's house and was playing that game. I tried it out and a few months later I had my own NES with Zelda, Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
