that percentage is only going to go up unfortunately

it definitely sucks that a person who's been obese for a long time would have tons of extra skin after major weight loss, sounds demotivating tbh, reality sucks

BMI is a flawed metric. According to BMI anyone over 6'2" in hight is automatically obese.

I'm 6'5" also. "Slightly underweight" for 6'5" according to BMI is 155 pounds, and "normal" starts at 156. I'd look incredibly malnourished at 156.

That said, even if the BMI chart is flawed, it is rpetty obvious that a ton of Americans are obese.
