Definitely the very first thing I'm gonna do once I have access to it is knock out all my non-student loan debt in one fell swoop. Then use some to get the fuck up outta Texas and then throw the rest in a savings account for me to invest in a home. I might not be a fan of Christianity but I can't deny I'm goth adjacent so memento mori is pretty much part of my aesthetic. Texas is great if you're wealthy but not-so-great if you're someone who might need to lean on public infrastructure (which Texas is notoriously bad at). You also have to consider that wages are much lower here on average. I lucked out since I work remote for a company based in Portland, but a lot of jobs here pay peanuts. Also, as the other poster mentioned, it's a regressive shithole and as someone who's gonna be 30 next year, I'm thinking long-term in terms of my mental and physical health as well as where I'd want to start and raise a family and ain't no way in Hell am I taking my future kids to a public school in Texas.
