Its been almost a decade since I had to do any maths more complicated than calculating basic probabilities. I would have to relearn how to do that, as it is, i'm not even sure what means.

mmmm....

3X^2+C/4X^3

Problem is I'm sure them being divided is some sort of integral in itself..

I think I could tell you what the numerator and denominator would be if they were totally separate*, but I don't remember at all how the process changes since they're being divided.

*: Numerator = 3x^4 + x^2 + C
Denominator = 4x^5 + x + C
?

?

If this is correct then I ended up differentiating it.

Personally I'd turn it into partial fractions and try to integrate those. But not in my head tho

Also, it'd be (x^4)/3 and (x^5)/4

Yes.

Solution: it's Current Year, segregation is bad, and values of all fractions and integers deserve to be integrated equally.

I am the very model of a modern Major General,
I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I know the kings of England, and I quote the fights historical
From Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical;
I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical,
I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical,
About binomial theorem I'm teeming with a lot o' news,
With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse.

I'm very good at integral and differential calculus;
I know the scientific names of beings animalculous:
In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I am the very model of a modern Major-General.

I know our mythic history, King Arthur's and Sir Caradoc's;
I answer hard acrostics, I've a pretty taste for paradox,
I quote in elegiacs all the crimes of Heliogabalus,
In conics I can floor peculiarities parabolous;
I can tell undoubted Raphaels from Gerard Dows and Zoffanies,
I know the croaking chorus from The Frogs of Aristophanes!
Then I can hum a fugue of which I've heard the music's din afore,
And whistle all the airs from that infernal nonsense Pinafore.

Then I can write a washing bill in Babylonic cuneiform,
And tell you every detail of Caractacus's uniform:
In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I am the very model of a modern Major-General.

In fact, when I know what is meant by "mamelon" and "ravelin",
When I can tell at sight a Mauser rifle from a javelin,
When such affairs as sorties and surprises I'm more wary at,
And when I know precisely what is meant by "commissariat",
When I have learnt what progress has been made in modern gunnery,
When I know more of tactics than a novice in a nunnery
In short, when I've a smattering of elemental strategy
You'll say a better Major-General has never sat a gee.

For my military knowledge, though I'm plucky and adventury,
Has only been brought down to the beginning of the century;
But still, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I am the very model of a modern Major-General.

Force=(Mass*Velocity)/Time
if you differentiate this you get
Acceleration=Velocity/Time
or something to that effect. Physics is the real world implication of how something changes over time.

It's enough. You split the fraction and the first term is of the type f'/f, which integrates to ln(f). The second term you can do x=u^2

If I was told "it's just two terms" yeah, but I assumed since it was CE that you just threw in some nonsense.

(like if it was (x^3+x^2)/(x^4+1) it's still possible but a huge mess)

Honestly what is to stop me from just saying x=1 and saying it equals 2/2 or 1 whole?

Without an answer number to try for any number can be x, and the answer will be correct if done correctly.

If my math was off for x=1 I apologize, but my question stands.

Nothing is to stop you. It wouldn't be correct though, because the question isn't "evaluate this function at x=1", it's "find the anti derivative of this function".
