What models? Do you have positive or negative feelings about the phones you've owned? Do you go with a contact or PAYG usually? Do you feel you have a healthy or unheathy relationship with phone culture? What phone do you currently own?

In order from earliest to latest:
Motorola Razr
iPhone 3G
iPhone 4S
iPhone 5
iPhone SE
OnePlus Nord N100
Motorola G Power (2020)
Google Pixel 6 - Current

I have positive feelings about all the phones I've owned so far. None have done me wrong or broke down early. I always buy the phone outright and sub to pay as you go plans, prepaid to be more specific. Currently that means AT&T prepaid and Visible (Verizon) on the Pixel. I'm on my phone an unhealthy amount of time like most people these days. It's rare I ever get bored anymore, which I think is the point. That said I try to fill my entertainment on the phone with non-vapid bullshit and avoid the generals. Of course I still end up on vapid/unproductive sites occasionally - such as GameFAQs.

Sony Ericsson W200, won it at a raffle in high school. It was my first phone.

Nexus 6, my first smartphone and the best phone I've owned. Lasted me almost 6 years.

OnePlus 7 Pro, my current phone. It's alright.

I dont remember my first 2. In both cases it was my dads old phone that i just got.

I wasnt even asking for a phone, i just got it handed to me whilst i was playing harry potter and the chamber of secrets on my dads laptop.

2nd one was much the same, id know them if you put them in front of me, but i dont remember the numbers. Both nokias though.

3rd Phone i got new, and it (Also Nokia) had this version of snake
http://www.freeware-symbian.com/nokia-n73-device-84/3d-snake-download-93702.html

And despite what the site says, it wasnt the n73, googled it, i definitely faintly recall using one such phone but it wasnt what i had.

4th Phone i believe was my moms old 6210 Navigator.
I recall actually getting a gameboy color emulator for that thing... no sound sadly, but still.
Final Nokai for my career.

5th was... again, my dads old phone. In this case an HTC Legend, first smartphone on the list, i remember trying to get Temple Run on it... never worked sadly.

6th. LGG2, i dont remember how it was bought exactly (got that phone near the end of a period of my life that was basically 2 years of hell, thinks where starting to move up by that point, but it would take a week or 2 before progress fully began)

7th, was when i got a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge March of 2017, i got it with the same carier i still have today... and for good reason. They offer a no interest payment plan for the phone, of either 6, 12, or 24 months.

Said phone also managed to take one hell of a beating (due to my clumsyness)... without showing much in the way for it... and this is why i still to this day is sticking to Samsung, they can handle me being clumsy a lot better than others.. the LGG2 took a fall as well, but that was just out of my pocket, not me basically throwing the phone 2 meters into the sky, and the LG faceplanted on the floor, not asphalt... and the screen utterly shattered from that. Ive never seen any of my samsung phones utterly shatter like that, despite taking a lot of similar drops.

8th Phone was 2 years after, the next in line. S9+

9th was S20 Ultra (as i have a habit of taking walks around sunrise/sunset/twilight and taking pictures of it. This phone took many faceplants akin to the one that shattered the LG... and with no cracks or anything to show for it... until my luck finally ran out. It still works, unlike the LG where the screen couldnt respond to anything, but with how clumsy i am it would just be a matter of time until i drop it again and again and again... and now that it is cracked, i dont know how much it can take before shattering fully.

...so after 2 and a half years i went for the next in line, and what i still have today (less than 2 months later actually)

S22 Ultra.

As for phone culture... im not sure what that even is? I use it more as a pda ig, internet access, gaming stuff... hell i can actually play my ps2 games on this one.

An old and bulky Nokia with a pathetic 5-hour battery my dad handed down to me when he got a new one for himself.
Another then-new (circa 2005) Nokia that my dad bought for me as a present.
That one still works just fine, surprisingly.

My early phones were dodgy pay as you go handsets from 3.

I did have a first gen iPhone and hated it because despite the bells and whistles it didnt function well as a phone. The aerial was awful.

went on various Samsung galaxy variants for a long time. Would normally buy the phone outright and get a sim only contract.

Bought an IPhone 13 Max Pro outright earlier this year and have a ridiculously cheap sim only arrangement on it. Its a decent phone, but to be honest, not worth the cost.

I still have every single cell phone I've had minus the samsung 6 edge which I traded in. Well, actually, I lost my first cellphone, the super tiny nokia that fits in the palm of your hand with the terrible reception. That thing was only good for emergency calls.
