Putin still hasn't conquered his less advanced next door neighbour.

It's a lot older than that.

But yeah, I would say that this offensive has been laughably bad on Putin's side if not for the countless human tragedies he caused as a result of his own ego.

He absolutely thought the rest of the world was going to react the same way they reacted to Crimera

And after he failed to achieve his goals in a few weeks, everything fell apart.

It's abslolutely embarrasing how little planning and thought Russia put into this. They had no strategy or plan B for if anything went wrong.

Russia is doing very poorly at defeating Ukraine.
On the other hand, Russia is doing a fantastic job at defeating itself.

I'm still amazed that Putin still can't see that most of the world hates him.
Ukraine are supplied by so many countries, and he can't deduce that he has more enemies than allies.

and it's just supplies, imagine if all those countries sending their forces.

What I expected would happen: One week later, Russia had crushed all resistance and installed a puppet government, UN would be against it and do a small sanction or two that would have ended by now and Germany would bath in Russian gas.
