Out of what I've seen I'd go with the original series or 0080 War in the Pocket. I've watched all gundam series up to and including Turn A, so I haven't seen any of the recent entries.

Zeta was really good and probably my favorite. 08 MS Team was really good as well.

Gundam Wing has the best suit designs hands down though.

Yeah, IBO wasn't perfect, but I liked it well enough. It's my favorite Gundam, but I haven't seen that many yet.
