One time around Christmas all the kids at church got a pack of gum and this one kid asked me to trade my spearmint gum for his peppermint gum. I traded him, but I regretted it so badly. I love spearmint. I never should have traded him and the regret I feel over it has led me to never trade anything with anyone since.

Should I hire a private investigator to track him down and ask for my gum back?
