Total dog shit. I know Im playing DQ11 and the music is one of the complaints because of the way it was recorded etc but this music is so annoying. And its like that in all the games. I just dont care for this kind of video game music where its full orchestra and its this upbeat easygoing vibe to it. Uematsu and Sakuraba run circles around dead racist Sugiyama. But, imo at least, DQ 8's music is the best in the series. I am looking forward to the new composer in dq12 ( provided Sugiyama didn't already finish all of DQ12's music before he died) and see what they can bring. --- :^) ... Copied to Clipboard!

The versions we got are re-releases with full orchestral soundtracks. Sugiyama refused to compose anything outside of MIDI once the games went to CD-based format, and the versions that are released later on have another music team just re-doing his compositions in an orchestra. He became lazy in each subsequent release until his death --- ...I think I'm done here... ... Copied to Clipboard!
