TotACon 09/27/22 8:33:26 PM #1:	My theory is that Brann was the one who gave Aegon his prophetic dream, during the Battle of Winterfell. During that event Brann "wargs" out of the battle at some point, and nothing is explained of that event afterwards, AFAIK. I believe it will be revealed that Aegon's dream set things in motion in the exact way they needed to happen in order for Arya to kill The Night King, and Brann was knocking the first domino. EmbraceOfDeath 09/28/22 1:04:26 PM #6:	The prophecy was pointless in the show. If the books ever continue it will be relevant there, but the season 8 fanfic content doesn't exist there. It ~~could~~ be that Bran is the source though. The Targaryens have a history of prophetic dreams, obviously with Daenys the Dreamer especially, but it's entirely possible all of them could come from Bran or Bloodraven since they are necessary to set the stage for the fight against the white walkers. --- No more shall man have wings to bear him to paradise. I highly doubt these dreams are from Bran, or that this show is even "canon" with the original series... especially because the one Aegon saw told him that a Targaryen must always be on the Iron Throne and that "all of Westeros" must be united to stand against the coming darkness.
