Worked at Starbucks for a while. You have no idea how many people mumble, fail to listen to simple questions ("WHAT SIZE? HOT OR COLD?"), or just don't recognize the person behind the register as a human being. Even spelling it out, they'll say, "mmmNA, mm mmmmm N A" - very helpful, "Banana". Starbucks also tends to hire a lot of minors who, for some reason, can't spell. Probably has a lot to do with the industry.
