yeah, the manager was like, "well... i guess i'm gonna have to let you go"

i know she didn't want to fire me, it's really more like assisted quitting. i've been the most reliable person there, but that's just it, i've been there for years, i've covered for people, i've done what nobody else wants to do, and i've cleaned up after everyone long enough. the job's just not worth the work.

also now i don't have to put up with schizos and druggies and thieves and shit throughout the night. it was never worth it

I feel like we may be missing a few more details, because all I have right now (and I may have missed in the thread) is, "all employees must agree to these 50 pages worth of changes or be let go."

And again, nothing against you if your answer truly was "I don't want to read all this." But I'd be curious if that truly is your final answer.

Now when you submit applications and they ask have you been fired you either have to lie or say that you were fired because you didnt want to sign papers. You dont even know what the papers entailed so you dont even have that as a defense.

I just dont understand. If you didnt want the job then just quit.

I'd imagine most employers would overlook a candidate that refused to acknowledge employee responsibilities and conduct if they're resume is stacked with things like years at a convenience store being the most reliable one there and covering up for people. Not a red flag at all. TC will be fine.

Nobody is worked up. It really makes no difference to me. A better question would be why make the topic if you didnt want to hear opinions?

any opinions are fine if they can be communicated without being condescending. it's really not a big deal, but some dudes here really chomp at the bit for any reason to flap off at the mouth

you should go back and cause a ruckus for your former manager to have to deal with and be all like "Oh I'm making this place an INconvenience store now, bitch!"
