In Michigan there is an island called, a Mackinac island and one of its main features is horse back carriage rides all day as an attraction. This is true, in most cases. Stable Hands are generally very dedicated. And these Horses in NYC are actually trained to do this. It's their home. Unless constantly walking around on pavement is killer for their legs, I dont see any reason to stop the practice, but they definitely need to have some kind of law that regulates how long they can be active in a day and check on their living conditions on a more regular basis. That horse looks like its either being ridden through multiple shifts without pause or simply is unhealthy from lack of care. ... Copied to Clipboard!
