What definition of coverup have you been using, Yellow?

The way I've always heard it used is someone trying to prevent others from learning about something unethical or illegal they did.

Idk very loosely apparently.

Like "removing it from the internet to keep people from seeing it" was enough for me to call it a coverup, but apparently it actually means "removing evidence that something happened", which it couldn't be because it's not the fact that it happened that they're trying to hide.

I dont think it had to be necessarily illegal or unethical. But it could be something embarrassing or humiliating or otherwise derogatory toward the subject trying to avoid the knowledge from being spread. It also doesnt even need to be done by the subject matter. But it does require that they dont admit to it being true

It's like it's incredibly early in development or something- oh, wait...
