It felt like somebody gave a major movie studio $300 million and said "here make a parody of the Thor movies"

I enjoyed it. I might have to do a comparison of jokes in Rag and L&T and compare their run times because I feel like Rag had more jokes but thats the biggest complaint against L&T.

Yeah that's how I would rate them. Not as forgettable as Dark World either.

It's less forgettable than Dark World but it's actually worse than Dark World

Parts of it were decent but overall I was disappointed. It made a mockery of the source comic. We barely saw any actual god butchering

I honestly think they should have just not adapted that storyline. I'm kinda mad that they took 2 very dark Thor stories and made 2 comedic movies. I'm happy that the director is quitting. Fuck him.

Chris Hemsworth career won't able to last long without his Thor movie, I wonder how long he'll last before he disappear from cinema

Thor 5 is planned. Just with a new director. Hopefully the next person will take a more serious take

Better than Ragnarok tbh. Obviously still goes overboard with jokes but has better sense to shut them up during more serious moments.

Kind of a love it or hate it movie

Viewers getting any sense that it isnt "as good as Ragnarok" or whatever are instantly gonna wanna kick it down a few notches, but I think the biggest plus to the movie that people are overlooking is that it represents what future MCU movies might look like post-broken timeline and the movie presents an interesting look at a pantheon of a hodgepodge of gods whereas otherwise the Asgardians and Eternals and Ten Rings or whatever are entirely unrelated and never really cross paths, like with the Egyptian Gods appearing in Moon Knight, and Love & Thunder pulls a genius move in jumping the gun to pretend the issue has been solved or is non-existent or rather it does quietly fix them, and shows the aftermath result or something along those lines

As the sequel to ragnarok: disappointing

As the 4th thor movie: good, distant second best

As the 35th or so MCU project: fine, somewhere in the middle

It was my most anticipated movie or show of the year after how much i loved ragnarok. It disappointed but I still think its in the middle of the marvel range.

From my experience, my coworkers/friends who watch less marvel stuff or tune in occasionally ended up liking it more than the bigger marvel fans who had seen thor reach bigger heights.

Tldr: its fine
