Tales Suikoden Which series should I play through? - Results (38 votes) Tales 39.47% (15 votes) 15 Suikoden 60.53% (23 votes) 23 I'm gonna commit to playing through one of these series for the rest of the month, but I can't decide which one. Most titles are readily available to me to play, and in Tales' case I have either started or put a few hours already into some of the titles and also some of them I don't plan on playing at all. Or maybe I will - it just depends. Playing through eternia right now which i'm only a couple hours in so far. Might finish the Destiny ps2 remake, idk yet. Play through Symphonia. Legendia. Finish Abyss since I'm 2/3 of the way through. Innocence. Maybe Hearts? Would like to go back and finish Graces since I think I'm at the halfway point or so? Maybe Xillia 1 Milla'a story. People just whine about it because they wanted a second S2. It's an amazing game, though Luca is probably the most overrated villain ever, and is definitely one of the most "must play" RPGs ever. Suikoden 3 mostly just gets a bad rap because it's the follow up to 2, and it goes for a pretty different tone. Yeah it still has plenty of war crimes, but none are even close to what 2 brings to the table (frankly, you could stretch that to most of the writing overall...). It, however, has plenty of upsides that make it very "must play" in its own right. A good example of that are the war battles. While they sucked at best in 2, in 3 they are actually one of the best tactical games across the genre (minus the fact that they are clearly almost nonexistent across the game). Alteres posted... no vesperia? Also I havent played arise yet, and am curious about that one myself.
