Some of this is because they've been holding it for a long time, some of it is because they don't want to lose their seat by the gate if they take too long. When I'm at the airport, I'm going at full speed 100% of the time.

Always fucking forgetting some obvious metal item at security and hold up the entire line cuz they're fucking ******ed! I never let that shit happen to me >_> idk how people always forget dumb shit like keys or cellphones smh

idk why but that really grinds my gears. I really should just sign up for TSA pre-check but I'm too cheap

I was trying to order a smoothie and this guy cuts me off to ask for directions and then leaves his bag in front of the cashier while he goes to ask someone else.

Its like walking into a mosh pit. Its the most anxiety inducing part of the airport for me cause I always think someone is gonna tackle me around the corner because so many are going 100% speed lol.

Yeah, this one is weird. I don't know why you would show up at the airport with a bunch of metal stuff in your pockets to begin with. Just put it in your bag and get it out later, you don't need your keys once you're out of your car. Shit, I left my keys with my mom the last time I traveled. What good are they going to do for me in another state?

I understand taking the aisle seat if you are old and overweight. but straight up taking the aisle seats at the start when the plane just opened is just inconsiderate.

Yeah this always seemed pointless for the most part. I understand if your group number is next but just standing near the board area blocking people when your group number is 8 and theyre on group 2 seemed pointless. Theyre not just shouting numbers in random people.
I know a lot of people do it to try and get first dibs of that sweet overhead bin real estate but some people act like the plane will leave without them lol.

Some places are more reasonable than others, but during my most recent layover (which was 4 hours long) I broke down and bought a $9 grilled cheese on sourdough bread.

It tasted fucking amazing. Not really worth $9, but I wasn't mad about it.

I got a four dollar can of apple cider soda made with pure cane sugar, tasted like pure ass... damn hippy shit, with the amount of calories it had it should have been delicious

Some flights don't have assigned seats. I know Southwest, last time I flew to California about 3-4 years ago, just called people up in groups determined by the order of their check-ins so they could get their seats.

Why? It takes two seconds to stand up and let someone in. I've never vwr seen a plane depart late because of an aisle sitter letting others in.

Ive been flying a lot of Southwest lately and its still really annoying when people group up as soon as boarding starts. Youll get scheduled letters A B or C and itll be like A 1-15 or 15-30. People still try and cut in like to get ahead or block the boarding area lol.

People are just in too much of a hurry at airports. Getting off the plane is another one. As soon as the plane lands theres always people who want to stand up and gatekeep so no one else can get up to grab their bags.

I can't tell if that sounds great or awful. I was always with Jetblue, cause they were usually cheapest without being Spirit Airlines. They wouldn't let people switch to empty seats, which was dumb.

Sounds terrible.

Its actually better than assigned seats. You get 2 free checked bags which is a huge plus. With Southwest you lose out if you dont check in before the flight because you get the last boarding section which guarantees you a middle seat lol. If youre flying alone then 2 free checked bags is great. If you care about sitting with someone specific then youll be fine as long as you check in within 24 hours. Only thing that might suck is if you plan to use the overhead bins and dont check in early because theyll be filled up by the time they get to the last boarding group.
