Um. Not really? Help.

Beat all the super bosses. Probably went overboard preparing a bunch of level X gems, but at least the grind is fairly streamlined.

Jansen confesses to Monica, and Lanz and Sena are like "wot".

There's a lot of cuteness in the naivete.

EDIT: Wow, of course Eunie is great for being a bucket of sass, but the times when she gets downright sweet with people (like her conversation with Monica) just slots her cleanly in the position of best girl.

Just thought of something. Ino's questline kinda solidified why Nopon aren't part of the cycle and are told not to interfere with the war, instead acting as a neutral third party.

Looking at the affinity chart for the new Nopon characters, two of them are a confirmed couple, and they talk about their ancestry a bit in relation to Ino, which means Nopon Caravans have been raising families much like City for many generations. Giving Nopon restrictions makes sense since most of them can't fight, and their knowledge of how the real world works would potentially sabotage Moebius's plan if either of the two nations learned about it from them.

Despite the apparent lack of sex drive, I would not have been surprised at all if Ashera and Teach started making out after that battle.

FINALLY a use for those Shards.

Sena gets more characterization in Segiri's story quests than she does in her own, lol.

By the way, I'm on the last Ascension Quest with Segiri. After that I think I'll head to the finish line.

That was my basic intent anyway. I've kinda ranked "things I'd want to do" for completion. That was at the top. Next would be all colonies to 5. After that it'd be working on means to get levels up and take on the superbosses, but eh. I've been playing this game for a month and a half now and I'm ready to move on.

The funny part about her is that, because she's the villain of an optional quest, she doesn't show up in Origin if you didn't do that quest.

I was wondering about that! The alternative would be you fighting her in Origin and killing her and her inexplicably showing up in that quest (or not at all, which would be weird for the scene).

Possibly the most extra final boss Xenoblade has ever had, for better or for worse. If it had more checkpoints I'd be okay with it, lol.

Yeah thankfully I only fell once in the very first part where Z nerfs you. Got a bit close in a couple places, though.

When Melia and Nia started slapping Z I was kinda hoping they'd be part of my last Chain Attack, but eh.

Sitting through the credits now.

So yeah, of the concept of "games that are probably too big", this game goes well beyond Elden Ring in that. Just so damn big.

I was spoiled that Nia and Melia can become characters, so I've picked them up. There a list of where their "special events" are?

We were talking about that earlier. Capable Hands basically made the last couple hours of the game a walk.

Using flash fencers master skill with Noah as a dps class, and using his talent art to 1-shot level 70 mobs is the best way to grind CP if you were interested in the post-game. Works best if you set your hero to a level 99 tank and the rest of your party at like level 50 or lower.

I'm probably going to wait until Batch 3 of the DLC before going back and doing Melia and Nia's story stuff and that's pretty much it I think.

What did you think of the chapter 5 twist TC? The stuff with N and M. Probably the best part of the game imo

Was pretty good. I didn't figure it out until shortly before the reveal though, despite the foreshadowing there.

That said, I knew we'd still have "Mio" after all that because I saw screenshots of her with long hair so I knew something was going to happen. I just didn't know if we'd get "new Mio" or "copy Mio" or "just M but she's close enough anyway". I didn't consider "mind switching" despite having been introduced to that. Anyway, they did an excellent job making those scenes sad and full of despair though.

I also liked the fact that Z wasn't just a dude, but was actually an amalgamation of all humanity's desire for things not to change, given data-like form. My suspicions were that he was some leftover element of Klaus/Zanza before then.

Part of me wishes I'd gone through XC2, but I was able to get up to speed enough. Alrest was another world created by the Conduit as a result of Klaus playing with it; basically Earth separating into both Bionis and Alrest, and then they started pulling back together, so Melia and Nia worked to create Origin to try to recapture those worlds and remake a new one, but Z formed because of human desires, so Melia got captured and Nia retreated to Cloudkeep.

And then Z's motivations seem interesting. He really basically started the war not only to take in energy but because it amused him. He was just bored. I honestly wonder if he created other Moebius members simply so he'd have someone to talk to.

When you think about it, everything the Conduit gets access to, collects, and reforms, seems to all just be data rearranged and reassembled, so in the end everything in the series is pretty much just data with memories. Sobering to think that's all we could potentially be with sufficiently advanced technology.

And then there's the flipping Nopon and nobody really knowing what their deal is.

Oh, and honestly I thought we might delve a bit more into Riku. He seems to have a connection to the world and its history that goes beyond just being a smart guy who knows how to work tech or build a nice sword out of Origin metal.

There's plenty that could be explored in Part 4 of the DLC. I honestly think there's plenty to be done exploring the Founders, much like Golden Country in 2, this will be a look into the distant past.
