It was much better than ff2 but it is such a janky game. You spent like 20% of the story froged or minied which completely nerfs the party and makes gameplay unfun. Story was unremarkable. Class grinding was really bad. I dunno just wasn't a good game overall. Falls under "I'm glad I played it and have no desire to do so again". --- We all ate the biscuits, Fighter. Because it had nothing at all other than copious amounts of ability to grind. The story was weak, the gameplay was weak, and the world was weak. Even being the start of the concept of class-switching in a JRPG wasn't enough to save it, especially since none of the classes were especially interesting versus the WRPGs of the era that had similar options. I never played it, but generally not a fan of that artstyle I did recently play the FFIII pixel remaster, after only ever playing the OG FFIII (Nes) like 20 years ago. I beat it twice on DS, and twice on Steam.
