I remember the opening with the creepy imagery Goosebumps was after my time. I read the first few books but theb got out of the franchise. I was like 12 or something already when Goosebumps books started. By the time the show existed I was probably in high-school or something. But the Goosebumps books were more formative for me than Are You Afraid of the Dark, even though I liked both.
