Things are already cooling down. We went from having 110+ degree days to about 100 degree days. It'll only keep going down from there until about the second half of October when it really starts to cool down. By November, it's actually cold outside through December and January. Then the weather stays nice until maybe April or so.

As someone who lives in Canada, that fact that 100 is considered "getting cold" is hilarious.

I can't stand humidity and rain though, I just want a dry consistent heat.

It's actually been nice this past month in southeast AZ. Never too hot (I don't think we've hit 100 in this timeframe), with lots of much needed rain.

The summers where I live in Canada May get as high as 100, and in the winters dip as low as -40 (yea, you read that right negative 40). That doesnt factor wind chill where it can hit -50 for a few weeks.

I could go without the 2 months of -25 and 1 week of -40 we get here though. Never been to AZ but i cant see it being so much worse than Toronto in July (+40 or so)

Nope, that's actually pretty normal. It's easier to warm up than it is to get cool.

I enjoyed visiting Arizona during the winter, but I wouldn't be caught dead there in the summer, spring or fall.

The weather isnt too bad honestly. The low humidity really does matter. Even in say, the northeast, its hot as shit in the summer anyway so you dont want to spend much time outside whether youre in Phoenix or Maryland.

The Phoenix valley has tons of great stuff for kids, and their playgrounds are S-tier. Its a shame the schools are complete trash because of Republicans.

Visited AZ a couple of Summers ago. Lots of places with beautiful sceneries. Getting burned with the seat belt buckle in the car is no joke. I'll take NY winter over AZ summer any time.
