Got bidet?

Been living the bidet life for a few years and it's the best thing ever. Only downside is I never ever want to poop in public now

It's really easy. Just turn off the water, remove the toilet seat, and attach another line. Takes 15 mins at most

I've never used one, but one thing that seems pretty consistent is when you are accustomed to using a bidet at home it makes it really uncomfortable to shit anywhere else. As someone who shits constantly this would not be good for me

Legit every toilet should have one. It makes toilet paper obsolete, more hygienic, and feels good

It doesn't make it physically uncomfortable. You just don't like that you have to use the old terrible system.

I don't use one in an effort to stay hardened, rugged and tough. Dingleberries are in line with this ethos.

Love it but it does not make toilet paper "obsolete" lol.

Still need to wipe down there not to mention dry your wet ass lol.

yes a good bidet washes and dries and sanitizes itself after use well worth the 1000's you will save on toilet paper and people clogging your toilet with tp

When you buy a cheap bidet you need tp

I want one in my home, but I would really prefer a free-standing one, not just the add-on to my current toilet. Seems like that may be a lot of plumbing work to do that tho.

I don't understand how 70% of the world don't use this before wiping with toilet paper:

Almost the entirety of America literally dry wipe which as MM would say, just spreads the soil all over themselves and have perpetual skid marks in their underwear

This is a weird take, better warm water then cold water to clean your butt, the cold water is uncomfortable as hell and unpleasant. Warm water is like rinsing/cleaning your butt in the shower.

Nah I agree. I have the heated option, but I think cold water feels much better

Not anymore since I live somewhere I don't have one but I used to and it's definitely the next step in progress. These days I always take a shower after #2 unless it's an emergency which I haven't had in years.

I think most people feel the same, whether or not they own a bidet.

Edit: I dont need one, as I eat plenty of fiber, and as such my #2s are so clean I barely need to wipe, but I do wipe, with cloth like paper towels I run under hot water.

For anyone worried about installation, Im an idiot when it comes to anything involving screws and I still figured it out within an hour or so. For me the hardest part was fixing the bidet under the seat so it aimed properly.
