TLoU's story is remarkably average. The writing/dialogue is good, but the story itself? Nothing close to special.

Anyway, it's basically what you'd expect, AKA a list aimed at really casual gamers. There are tons of obscure games out there with way better stories than anything on this list, like The House in Fata Morgana.

Some of those games dont even belong on a top 50 list. Celestes story isnt bad but it doesnt belong anywhere near this list. Nier Automata is too low as well

It's...good in that regard, but still monumentally overrated. I don't think it's anywhere near the best VG story ever, and I don't think I'd even have it in my personal top 20.

I'd pick MGS2 over 3 and would leave Bioshock off of the list entirely but it's solid otherwise.
