As in they either successfully ran away, or they managed to avoid jail time due to there not being enough evidence. Has that ever happened in the show before? I'm pretty sure it's hard to get away in time because they already have cops waiting there, and they purposely get the predators to say incriminating things to charge them with. But has any one of them just been really clever or lucky with a lawyer that they walked away free?

I'm sure it's happened dozens of times. If that show had a 100% clear rate, that would have literally been insane. That's an impossible stat.

A lot of the cases got dropped Im pretty sure. Even so those guys reputations are forever ruined so theres that at least

there are predators that beat the charges and predators that fled the country to avoid prosecution, but none of them ever successfully ran away from the string house.

Edit: Except for the predators from the first sting, which didn't have police involvement.

In season 1 when Chris didnt work in the police Im sure most/all of them got away. Once they started working with the police in season 2 onwards they got arrested when leaving the building

I remember one guy got off, because he was tagging along with a buddy of his. His buddy was the one that was going after the kiddo, and the dudes defense was "I had no clue where we were going", so he was let go

They probably wouldnt show stuff like people getting away. Or anyone killing themselves once they found out it was a sting and they were getting arrested.

The worst guy in the history of the show was the guy who offered Chris pizza and acted like a smug prick through the entire sting. Pretty sure hes still out there

I remember hearing about a dude showing up early and didn't even go into the house. He just drove by and drove off because when he arrived, they were arresting the previous guy so he panicked and peaced out. They still tracked him down later though from what I recall.

you're referring to Jeff Sokol.

he was arrested and prosecuted for his crimes. he's still out there, but he's an RSO. he didn't get away with it or anything.

Nah the worst guy was Can_I_Rape_You_Anally who wanted to suck on the decoys blood and tie her up.

There was one who started aggressively approaching the decoy and Chris had to step in to stop him

one of the worse predators was steve buchanan (from the newer 2014 reboot). he wouldn't go into the sting house with the girl, he tried to persuade her to get in his car. after he was arrested, they found rope, duct tape and a gun in his car.

Only the cases in Texas got dropped because of procedural violations.

If this topic is correct, a few guys got off because the court asked to see Perverted Justice's hard drives, which Perverted Justice didn't want to show. So the guys were allowed to go free.
